Popular Post webfact Posted July 18, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 18, 2023 In a surprising experience, a resident of the Bang Nang community in Chon Buri’s Phan Thong district encountered an outsized lizard in his toilet. He was fortunate enough to evade a potential bite after doing his business as usual and alerted others of the lurking danger with detailed posts on social media. Late at night, when Tiwa Kheawsom was using his bathroom, he noticed an eerie image after flushing the toilet. Much to his amazement, it was the head of a giant lizard lodged in the toilet. Despite his repeated attempts at flushing, the lizard refused to retire into the drainage system. Taking matters into his own hands, Tiwa used a bathroom cleaner and closed the toilet lid for a while. His effort bore fruit as the lizard eventually capitulated and slithered down the drain, disappearing altogether. Tiwa decided to regard the lizard’s presence in his bathroom as an omen of good fortune, provided he remained unattacked by the giant lizard, reported Sanook. by Samantha Rose Picture courtesy of Sanook Full story: https://thethaiger.com/news/eastern-thailand/chonburi-residents-lucky-escape-from-giant-lizard-lurking-in-toilet-2 -- © Copyright Thaiger 2023-07-18 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. PETERTHEEATER Posted July 18, 2023 Posted July 18, 2023 I suggest it was not a 'giant' or even 'oversize' lizard since it was in a WC bowl. A protected species yet an attempt to poison the animal with 'bathroom cleaner' was made. Had this been a foreigner he would be facing the wrath of concerned citizens and prosecution. ???? 2
jcmj Posted July 18, 2023 Posted July 18, 2023 So, I guess lizards can’t be a reincarnation of your loved ones like most other animals, otherwise he may end up down below for poisoning it. I’m sure that there were other options, but maybe he was just to scared, or didn’t have a group of friends to help him. ????

Had one at my place recently... although it ran away, it gave me an impression of being more than a match for a stiff broom. Very strong and a swipe from the tail looked dangerous. Great laugh watching 2 Thai guys chase it down and catch it.
