A 19 year old Israeli man has been taken into protective care after he was found naked and bleeding in Cherng Ttalay on Wednesday night, July 25. The Phuket News reports that the man was found with a large, bleeding wound on his hand at the Caltex petrol station in Baan Pasak at around 10.30pm.

Staff at the petrol station called the authorities and the deputy chief of Cherng Ttalay Police, Sutham Rattanasawangwong, arrived on the scene accompanied by a number of officers. Rescue workers from the Cherng Ttalay OrBorTor’s office also attended the scene and found the man clad in a towel provided by petrol station workers.

According to the Phuket News, the man appeared to be hallucinating. He was given first aid for the large cut on his right hand, but it took officers a long time to persuade the man to let them take him to hospital.
