Social Media
Joe Biden's son Hunter will now be investigated by a special counsel with additional powers, the US attorney general has announced. Merrick Garland has elevated the status of David Weiss, the federal prosecutor who has already filed criminal charges in the case. A plea deal on tax and gun charges against the president's son collapsed earlier this month. Republicans are pushing for an inquiry into Hunter Biden's business dealings. In a surprise announcement at the Department of Justice on Friday, Mr Garland explained that he was making the move after a request by Mr Weiss earlier this week. The new designation will provide the prosecutor with extra resources to pursue the investigation and to potentially bring further charges beyond the state of Delaware. Mr Garland said the special counsel would produce a report when his work was done, and that the justice department would make as much of it public as was possible. "The appointment of Mr Weiss reinforces for the American people the department's commitment to both independence and accountability in particularly sensitive matters," Mr Garland said at a news conference. Hunter Biden's lawyer, Chris Clark, responded in a statement: "We are confident when all of these manoeuvrings are at an end my client will have resolution and will be moving on with his life successfully." Behavior typically only seen in juntas in third-world nations or early twentieth-century dictatorships in Europe. Weiss already let the statute of limitations run out on several other criminal charges and concocted the (failed) sweetheart deal! Now he can he can prevent anyone else from investigating "his" case. Total cock. It's yet another fit-up and Weiss is the last person that should be appointed SC (unless your name is Biden, of course). LOL back. Why would anyone believe anything that these people claim? They are still doing their damnedest to try and spin Devon Archer's testimony that pretty much refuted all their claims about Joe Biden benefitting from Hunter Biden's business dealings. 5 1 1

Popular Post riclag
Wrong guy to appoint ! He was part of the sweetheart deal that the judge in Delaware mistakenly found that was approving total immunity from other crimes, for the ex drug addicted son while he was still under investigation for Fara violations! Sitting on my edge waiting to hear what law professors say about this latest facade by bidens DOJimop “This action by Biden’s DOJ cannot be used to obstruct congressional investigations or whitewash the Biden family corruption,” Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said in a tweet. “If Weiss negotiated the sweetheart deal that couldn’t get approved, how can he be trusted as a Special Counsel? https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/live-blog/hunter-biden-investigation-special-counsel-live-updates-rcna99483 https://news.yahoo.com/doj-reveals-hunter-biden-still-224814703.html Edited August 12, 2023 by riclag 1 1 1 2

Oh yea they lowered the bar for evidence I forgot, they are now saying that don't even have to show direct payments occurred....lol 3

Long overdue for trump organisation to be investigated for enabling money laundering by Russians, leveraging off diplomatic contacts for investment funding e.g. billions from Qatar. 1 1 4
