the   full  english is now too dangerous to contemplate

Jesus,

You guys know how to eat.

If that's your breakfast, I can only imagine how fancy your dinners are.

Personally, I like breakfast. I almost never eat dinner.

My usual brekkie, first meal, is a couple eggs, maybe with a side or protein, or it turns into an omelet.  Like to start the day with heavy protein & fat meal, after my overnight intermittent fast of 15 ish hours.

Brekkie is usually 1100-1200, then munch again at around 1400, if bored, then again, dinner at 1600-1700.  That's actually dictated by the solar system, and dog taking me for my evening  walk before sunset, so I can see the snakes without carrying a flashlight  :coffee1:  ... Maybe a lite snack at 2000 hrs.

Only post photos of anything else when it's a bit different.  I'd bore you with repetitive snaps of eggs+ or omelets.

What is an intermittent fast? One where you get up for a snack now & then?

In case you're not joking, or for others ... just an extended period (hours, not days) of not eating, or smaller window for eating, pick one.  Simply lets ketones do their thing.

Overnight the easiest, as you're sleeping half of that time.  Last lite snack, protein and or fat, not sugar or starchy carbs, is about 2000 hrs, then first meal is around 1100 hrs, so a good 15 ish hour +/- fast.

Wake up about 0600 hrs +/-, have morning coffee, black, and stay occupied reading the internet, chit chatting with friends & family , as still early evening in USA.  YT, recipes, shopping 🙄, research, news ... planning dinner, or whatever I'll be cooking or prepping for later.

Really not hungry and if really busy, may not even eat till early afternoon.  Actually quite easy after breaking the habit of waking up & eating, which I was never into that much anyway, large brekkies anyway.  Now nothing when I just wake up.  Leave them ketones to finish up.

No, I wasn't joking.

For me, final meal at 18.00, then maybe a vino (home-made) or beer. Sleep all through until 06.00, watch News on TV, cuppa at 07.00 (Taylors Yorkshire of course, no milk or sugar). 08.00 Muesli + fruit+ Greek Yoghurt+ fermented milk.

Lunch is something on my home-made Wholemeal bread, cheese, p-nut butter (home-made) with sweet chilli.

Usually some Thai stuff for evening meal (home-made).sauce (mmmm). Eggs three times a week.

Well if not eating, snacking from 1800-0800 then that's a pretty good fast itself.   Only difference, my first meal is usually eggs & protein, vs carbs.

Is that peanut butter w/chilies in it, or topped with ?

I make my own from plain, peeled nuts. Bht 49 for 500gms)  Roast at 110C for 30 minutes, or until golden.

Into food processor with a bit of Rice Bran oil (Coconut oil makes it solid when kept in the fridge). I don't want to put salt in it, so a spoon of Marmite does the job. Process until desired crunchiness.

So you know exactly what's in it. Spread onto my bread/toast with a dab of Sweet Chilli sauce, or Sriracha. Tastes like satay on toast.

Cool, wife was roasting (pan frying) peanuts yesterday.  Keep suggesting to roast in oven, as she picks out the 'well done' ones, but hey, what do I know :cheesy:

The chili thing sounds interesting, and will have to give that a try.  Been looking locally for Lao Gan Ma Crispy Chilli in Oil, after watching a YT vid of someone making, seem a bit more than I want to do.  Have to buy online, as no plans on going to Hua Hin anytime soon.  See Tops carries it, but one in HH is small.  Not sure if Gourmet Markets would have.
