The 91 high crimes and felony charges...aka serious violations of the LAW...does not take a backseat to the side job...aka sideshow/freakshow. The PEOPLE of the USA, against whom these crimes have been committed, also have rights. Two of those is the right to a speedy trial and a little something called justice, about which this "person" knows nothing, but is about to become very familiar.

The hammer has been dropped. Trump's Jan 6th case trial date set for 4th March 2024. Prosecution wanted Jan 2024 but Trumps defense wanted April 2026.

As a neutral (I dislike both Trump and Biden), it does appear that the sheer number and the timing of charges against Trump are aimed at derailing his political ambitions and allow Biden to win again at the next election.

 

Weaponizing the justice system against political enemies used to be a practice reserved for the likes of Thailand and Myanmar. The US under Biden appears to be in a race to join these types of countries. A race to the bottom. Sad times.

himself played.

 

Throwing Michael Cohen in prison for exercising his first amendment rights by writing a book (critical of Trump) being just one example.

Newsflash:

 

  If trump would have immediately returned the classified docs like biden and pence did  rather than lie about it and try to hide docs time and again for 18 months after being asked politely to return them there would never have been a document case.

 

If trump had accepted the election results that were verified over and over via recounts and reviews almost all done by republicans and proved valid he could have gone to mar a largo and there would never have been an attempted coup or a riot at the capitol.

 

If trump had not tried to coerce and meddle in Georgias election after being assured over and over by republican officials there was no fraud he could be playing golf without a worry in the world.

 

The bottom line is that almost all of trumps current legal problems were brought about by trumps own poor choices....but rather than accept it like a man he whines like a 4 year old that didn't get the ice cream he wanted.  Boo hoo.
