Interesting.

I thought that the Secretary-General of the National Security Council (NSC), Gen. Natthapon Nakpanich, a longtime aid to Prayut was said to gain this post.

He's a Red Rim, and said to be close to the King as well.

Thamanat Prompow, Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister

ffs

An absolute scandal.  Oz should immediately enforce high tariffs on all Thai imports and set the drug sniffing dogs to work on all exports to Thailand.

Another snout in the trough. A plum assignment, I trust it will make him extremely rich, if he is not already very rich.

Likely already, although I suspect his net worth recently took a nose-dive, due to making investments for the future.

Interesting. Keeping Defence under civilian control will be a new experience for Thailand ...

Wasn't Yingluck Defence Minister?

There seem to be an awful lot of Deputy Prime Ministers.

Are they expecting a lot of absence through illness? Seems quite popular just lately.

Yes, but was Defence 'under civilian control' in her time?
