The camera comes with two rechargable 2100 mA Ni-Mh batteries that last for less time than it take to take half of the 100 pictures or so it will hold.

I've found on the internet that a Li-Ion alternative is available. The battery is called CR-V3R but I've not been able to find it anywhere around Pattaya. Even in Si-Racha where they usually have all the gadgets I need they were looking at me with the "deer caught in headlings" stare..
