Intoxicated British Man Beaten by Two Thai Men in Pattaya

5.10am and a Thai men drinking in a convenience store. Shop owner, Ms. Euaamporn Rattanamethakoson has a lot to answer for, Surely alcohol sales cease at 12 midnight!

 

If she hadn't sold alcohol the incident would not have happened. Throw the book at her and take away her alcohol licence!

Deserved or not by his actions, it should never have happened. The shop owner is to blame for allowing alcohol sales and drinking at 5am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a Brit and I can assure you that many cannot hold their booze and become downright obnoxious after a few. When they get to a free and easy place like Thailand they completely lose it.

 

A very intelligent and well-educated guy I worked with many years ago explained that you can reason with the vast majority of people that are mis-behaving, but there are a few that only understand one thing, and that is a smack in the mouth!

 

 

OK then no Thai bashing (this time).

Living 10 years in Thailand now i never saw that a Thai person started a fight or verbal aggression with a farang. It was always the other way around. May be some of you have other experiences but in my opinion the average farang comes to Thailand and find himself superior over the Thai. Well, if you so much more intelligent, then avoid these kind of situations and you will be fine.

Another story of a DRUNK foreigner ( nationality immaterial ) behaving stupidly most drunks do, it would appear he dealt with the shop successfully, yet fragfile egos coupled with also possible drinking upset young men who got upset. 

 

The Two on one scenario is to be expected here , however Foreigners should learn that their behaviour does have repercussions `and to behave accordingly, something many never learn.

According to another article I read the man  was extremely provocative. He was very drunk. He sat next to the Thai men and started being abusive. The shopkeeper asked him to leave. The man then made insulting comments about the girlfriend of one of the Thai men.

Thais like “us” just fine so long as we show respect and courtesy. Those two qualities go a long way
