If you are experiencing problems with your present Internet browser, as you seem to imply, then why not try:

It's available in 42 languages, and it's usable on Linux, too!

I am still OK with Google Chrome browser, and my settings allow me to not ignore anything.

Well it either is or it isn't .

If you think something, you may be wrong .

Is his theory respected by most people in the field of psychology or not ?

The Theory of Cognitive Dissonance has been evolving and morphing, to the point that it has gradually become a different theory than was originally proposed. But, was this warping of the original theory justified?  Maybe not, and please see this Abstract...

So then..

What if the original dissonance theory .... was correct???

I say that the distortion of the theory, maybe so that it will fit needs which were not originally intended, such as uses in industry, in business, for example, may have been incorrect.

The question you ask is being hotly debated, as we speak.

I love Festinger, though.

For sure....

We could read more, to answer your question.

Unfortunately, MUCH of Science is now NOT AVAILABLE to the world.

Much of science is BEHIND PAYWALLS.

The keepers of the knowledge do not want you to know what they do not want you to know.

Or, they just enjoy GETTING RICH OFF OTHERS' HARD WORK!!!!

Reading the following article will cost you...62 EURO!

Is this RIGHT???

NO, this is NOT right!!!

((BUT, of course, if you want to read almost ANY science journal article, then please just use SCI-HUB...and you can gain immediate access, as I just did...

SCI-HUB helps the world, by sharing science info with ALL people, rich or poor.))

The topic of "everything" is a vast and complex one that encompasses the entirety of existence, knowledge, and experience. It's a philosophical and metaphysical concept that has been explored by thinkers, scientists, and scholars throughout history. Here are some aspects and perspectives related to the topic of everything:

  1. Existence and Reality: When we talk about "everything," we refer to the totality of existence and reality. This includes the universe, all matter and energy, and any potential parallel or alternate realities.
  2. Philosophical Considerations: Philosophers have pondered questions related to everything for centuries. What is the nature of reality? What is the purpose of existence? Is there a meaning to everything, or is it all random?
  3. Cosmology: In the field of cosmology, scientists study the origin, evolution, and eventual fate of the universe. Understanding the universe is an attempt to comprehend a significant part of "everything."
  4. Metaphysics: Metaphysics deals with questions about the fundamental nature of reality, including the existence of abstract entities, the nature of time, and the concept of causality.
  5. Quantum Mechanics: In the realm of quantum physics, scientists delve into the behavior of subatomic particles, revealing a bizarre and complex world that challenges our understanding of reality.
  6. Religion and Spirituality: Many religious and spiritual traditions offer their own interpretations of everything, often positing the existence of a higher power or ultimate reality.
  7. Consciousness: The study of consciousness is a fundamental aspect of understanding everything. It involves exploring the nature of subjective experience, self-awareness, and the mind's relationship to the physical world.
  8. Information Theory: Information theory deals with the quantification of information, which is a fundamental aspect of everything. It explores concepts like entropy, data, and communication.
  9. Multiverse Hypotheses: Some theories in physics propose the existence of multiple universes or a multiverse, expanding the scope of "everything" beyond our observable universe.
  10. Ethical and Moral Considerations: Discussions about everything often touch on ethics and morality. Questions about right and wrong, good and evil, and the purpose of human existence are central to this aspect.
  11. Art and Creativity: Artists and creators often explore the concept of everything through their work, expressing the human experience and the mysteries of existence in various forms.
  12. Technology and AI: As technology advances, artificial intelligence and machine learning are attempting to simulate human intelligence and understanding, contributing to our exploration of everything.
  13. Interconnectedness: Many philosophical and scientific perspectives highlight the interconnectedness of all things, emphasizing how everything is interdependent and part of a larger whole.

In summary, the topic of "everything" is a multifaceted and profound concept that touches on nearly every field of human inquiry, from philosophy and science to spirituality and the arts. It represents our quest to understand the nature of existence, reality, and the universe itself.

But, don't you know the answer is 42...
