How lucky are we?

Maybe he can tell Musk to stop f'ing up Twitter.

You mean X yes? and also now he's thinking of charging a small fee to use the app to ' deter an army of bots' as he put it...

He will get some attention, as most world leaders have decided not to attend.

Four out of five leaders from the permanent members (P5) of the UN Security Council won’t be present. The only P5 head of state attending is US President Joe Biden. Last year, UN Secretary-General António Guterres sounded the alarm about a world becoming more divided; this year’s General Assembly may be the manifestation of that trend. With the expansion of BRICS to include six new countries, as well as recent high-level attendance at G7 and G20 meetings, smaller but less divided forums may prove more efficient for some leaders than the UN General Assembly.

Lower import taxes on western cars and end the dodgy deals that favor Japanese vehicles.

I am happy with Japanese cars. Might go Chinese for my first EV, but another 3 years down the track.

No, that's business class. And why shouldn't he? He should fly all the way to NY for a global conference in economy?

Looks like business class to me. Why TIT ? How do heads of government fly to an international conference in your country? btw, possibly people much shorter than him.

ok, but unrelated to the OP. Musk is going to talk to the Thai delegation via telecon, it doesn't matter who is attending or not the GA.

Didn't Elon have to cough up in a Thai libel case during the cave rescue of the footballers?

Don't think so.

I thought the case was unproven.

Very true.

But we all know, tax is just for the small fry.

big fish employ loads of people,   so they get very large tax concessions. around this world.

I'm unsure the rights and wrongs of that.

But investment in Thailand would be good for Thailand.
