Begin of this week, I started to notice that my Facebook was flooded with advertisings for a Thai Drivers License.
Each with a different advertiser.

They all published a "SPONSORED" advert and wrote that:
"You don't need to come to the DLT yourself and lose your time as we have our own people who will pass the test for you and collect the DL with your ID".
The advert on his own is already against the Facebook community as Facebook allegedly doesn't allow selling these things on their platform.
But moreover it goes against the Thai laws, altough nobody seems to care about it.

So, next time you read about a traffic accident and "the brakes failed" you know why.

! scary having someone elee sit the est. Whose photo goes on the licence?

There is another option:

Daughter is attending training and sitting for her licence at Advanced, an accredited driving school next month:

Currently, more than 30 Advanced Driving Schools are in operation across the country. The school has a standardized driving training course licensed by the Department of Land Transport. Ministry of Transport Courses offered Driving test for transportation, driving test course and motorcycle driving test course for the general public and can take the test to obtain a driving license at the school.

here's a 2017 link to a thread on the topic

New regulations mean that people who want a driving license will no longer need to be tested at a land department center.  93 private driving schools nationwide are registered with his department. Potential drivers will have to go to one of  these to complete the training. But when that is done they will need to do nothing else except present the certificate from the driving school and they will get their license. Another 48 driving schools are also being considered to be part of the scheme.
