POLICE arrested an employee of a top airline based at Suvarnabhumi Airport on the charges of having sex with a 15-year-old teen boy at a bathroom within the airport, Amarin TV said Saturday evening (Sep. 30).

Social Development ministry called for regulating temples following abduction of a boy

The Mirror Foundation has proposed that the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security step in to regulate temples providing shelter to children, mostly ethnic children, who are either orphans or whose parents cannot afford to look after them, following the kidnapping of a 14-year-old boy from a temple in Sing Buri province.

Flash Flood Derails Express Train in Phrae Province, Causing Minor Injuries and Service Suspensions

Heavy rains caused an express train to derail from a flash flood on the way to Kaeng Luang-Ban Pin station, Phrae province. A few passengers suffered minor injuries and many trains were suspended.

THE CEO of a public-listed engineering company issued a warning that a tropical depression hanging over the Pacific has turned into Tropical Storm Koinu and as it moves westwards will hit Thailand during Oct. 9-11, Matichon newspaper said.

On October 1 at 13:00, in Samut Prakan province, police were alerted to a violent occurrence in the parking area of Wat Bang Ya Phraek. A 15-year-old boy, pseudonymously referred to as "A", was discovered with a stab wound on his right torso and bite marks on his knee.
