You know....

I think that it is, in some respects, such a sad thing that...

Japan is so quickly becoming sort of a geriatrically challenged society...

Compared to what it once was.

But, still, maybe there is some hope:

I have heard it said, in slang:

Of course, just as you guys did, I studied Sociology at university.

And, at uni....

All Topics are acceptable for discussion in Sociology Class.

Especially, if one has a more liberal Sociology Prof....

Still, I fear, that the present trend in Japanese demographics will continue.

And so, Japan is definitely the place for me....

Thinking of Japan, now...

I recall the first time I was ever in a "hostess bar" in Yokohama.

I was only 19.

And some beauty, same age as I, sat down next to me.

She was one of the most beautiful girls I had ever seen.

I still recall her very clearly, even now...

Even though she had probably sat with me for less than five minutes.

I had no money to spend on her, at that time.

But, just due to her beauty, which I still recall to this day....

I have never forgotten her.

She was my age.

She was beautiful.

And, she just seemed to appear beside me....

For no reason at all.

Those days of Japan, in the early 1970s...

Are now

LONG GONE.

Asia, today, is not what it once was.

In so many disappointing ways....

how long did it take you to learn Japanese?

You think that learning a language is a work that is ever fully completed?

You NEVER learn a language.

You just try your best to continue to learn a language, and not quit.

The thing about JEFF BECK is....

He brought TRUE Delight to thousands, and even millions

His music was GLORIOUS.

His Tokyo concert was truly amazing.

We can all thank Jeff for what he brought to us.

And, at least on UTUBE....

His music lives on.

Thank you JEFF!!!!
