Running scared then?

There's more news of Iranian involvement:

quote from link :

"The report notes that the Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah agreed the ultimatum with Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force, who arrived in Beirut on Tuesday."

Great news!

Biden said I think we need a pause. Very different from a ceasefire

"The White House has refused to call for a cease-fire but has signaled that the Israelis should consider humanitarian pauses to allow civilians to receive aid and for foreign nationals trapped on the strip to leave Gaza."

Our PM and others in UK have asked the same a Pause not a ceasefire.

How is it different?

I would imagine Air Attacks are stopped for a period for citizens to move to a safe area and humanitarian aid can reach more where it is needed most of the timing is up to Israel. How long they will wait before Opps start again?

Oh, so it's different in that only Israel has to stop?

They suggested that tomorrow at dawn something will happen. We will see.

They gonna shoot some Cowards.

Much shorter, and aimed at achieving specific tasks, fulfilling specified goals.

Usually no official paper.

A ceasefire would be longer, more general in nature and papers will be signed.

Not necessarily, but could mean that if Hamas was not into it.

Then again, they'd have a hard time explaining why not - and also not in their interest to refuse.

Well yes, i suppose both sides but as Hamas Desecrated dead Israelis could you trust them to uphold a pause in Activitys?

More like they'll pretend to pause until they get a few clear shots.

Based on historical events like the Vietnam War, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, and the USA's invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, a different narrative emerges. It suggests that those fighting for their freedom tend to ultimately triumph, and the occupying forces are destined to be defeated, sooner or later.

In the case of Israel, a few hundred freedom fighters have managed to humiliate Israel and bring it to its knees. What chances does Israel stand when its neighbors come together and initiate a full-scale war, equipped with an army, tanks, air force, and more? This current situation doesn't qualify as a war; it's rather a one-sided assault on a small group of fighters and the civilian population who possess very little.

Indeed. Let's hope the US does the right thing and orders a ceasefire, but I doubt that will happen.

Good to see Palestine's neighbours supporting them in their time of need.

The USA cannot 'order' Hamas to comply with ceasefire. You know that.

What neighbors are helping in which way? And are they helping Hamas? The Palestinians?

Not expecting even a half-coherent, fact based reply, obviously.

Israel loses if it doesn't win. Hamas wins if it doesn't lose

Outed yet again following your Russian mates:

A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency, and/or is fake news. https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/russian-news-agency-tass/

Their latest anti-Semitic conspiracy was claiming the west caused the storming of the Russian airport and attacks on Jews in Russia.

So you gave up with the religious quotes and decided to make it up as you go along :cheesy:

If something is so obvious is it necessary to report it as news? For example, they don't report about the sun rising everyday.

Israel PM's son not signing up for army service.

Shocker!

For a news source that specialises in Russian propaganda one would have to assume yes it is wrong and anybody that reads TASS are desperate for news that satisfies their own warped mentality.

I think many Russian AN members in SE Asia like to follow their news through Tass.

I use mostly the French channel. Russian and French people have a long tradition in having good/stable diplomatic relationships.

Tass also informed me that 2 Chinese fleets went to the Persian Gulf this week.

There was little or no news coverage in the Western media and it can be relevant for the US carrier fleet coming in the same direction in front of Iran...

That's why I've put the Iranian/Hezbollah meeting and possible involvement in the latest Gaza war.

Again, no much western press agencies are allowed in Iran and/or Lebanon...

That some news outlets are "blacklisted" like : Aljazeera, BBC, Tass, RT  is OK for me, but some news in this Gaza-war topic comes sometimes first hand from these "blacklisted" news outlets.

I don't care which language you watch TASS in, it is still funded by the Kremlin.
