Climate change not being a feature of the end of an ice age but man made? C'mon, bro, next you're gonna tell that Covid wasn't the flu.

Most of us already know the answer to that.

It's easy if you just ban anything opposing the approved narrative set by "The Science" which also just invented 1 million genders.

I remember when maybe around 1970 we learned that there won't be any oil reserves available anymore in 20 years of so. That was 50 years ago. Did we run out of oil? No!

There are just too many people whose job is to make panic. Panic sells and keeps the masses occupied.

People lie about things to make more money, like the oil problem. Climate change has been obvious for years now. Being blind is why they get away with raping the earth's resources for profit.

Bio-terror

The human genome has been revealed. Genes are now understood and can be altered, not just in humans but in everything from viruses to bacteria. The weaknesses in the human immune system are better understood.

Terrorist organizations have sent and/or recruited people who have attended the world's premier universities and have specifically studied gene manipulation, with the intent of developing and unleashing a superbug.

It is entirely possible that someone or someones will developed a bug that will take out all of humanity. They might even use AI to help.

Yes, it would kill the developer, too. That doesn't stop suicide bombers.

Never in human history has one person been capable of eradicating all life.

Exactly the opposite is true. As the world's population increases more food and resources are needed, which means more deforestation and development of acres of land. Biodiversity is decreased, species are killed off at a faster rate. More pollution, more use of oil, which means more emissions, increasing pollution and increasing the climate changes, which are happening and will hurt us. Thinking like that is why it continues. Ignorance lets the rich destroy for profit. Since you like to use the internet to learn..................https://earth.org/overpopulation-sustainability/

Over population will not last very long, many countries already see a steady decline in birthrate.

Crazy ideologies, fanatics, dictators, as well as genetically engineered viruses and diseases (Covid-19 most probably not being the last one). - There is also destruction of our natural environment (oceans, rain forests) and global warming, but I think it won't matter for the survival of humankind, as the dictators and fanatics will take care of us well before the latter become a threat...

Yes, but not markedly so.  He is an outlier!

Fair point SuperSaiyan there were no Scientists or CO2 Emissions in the last ice age that wiped out the Dinasaurs.

How do you know there were no scientists during the last ice age?  You don't think there were humans that were curious and willing to try new things and pay attention to the results(ie. learn) ?

The ice age did not wipe out the 'Dinasaurs', a big a$$ meteor or comet took care of them.

OK.... that is true.  However a lot of evidence that backs up that theory has been accumulated in the last couple of decades.

It is all a big mess i think right now, what is going to do us in?

Of course it could be an all out war but that is not what i am aiming at.

Is it over population?

Politicians?

Environmental issues or just the fact that people are losing common sense.?

Could be many things, what is your opinion?

Humanity is the biggest threat. The human species is dangerous, selfish,. stupid, vicious, murderous and damaging to all and everything around it, we are, in effect a highly dangerous virus.  If the history of the Universe tells us anything, its that Nature, the Laws of physics and Natural Selection, will at some point hit back at such a virus and eventually kill it off. The dinosaurs lasted over 60 million years, I don't give us much more than another few hundred, if that.
