Trump questions how Jews or ‘anybody who loves Israel’ can vote for Democrats

Former President Trump on Monday questioned Jewish Americans who vote for Democrats and hammered President Biden’s foreign policy amid unfolding violence in Israel.

Trump, in remarks to supporters in New Hampshire, claimed Biden “betrayed Israel” and cited the terrorist attacks in Israel and ensuing fighting in Gaza as the latest example of a foreign conflict bubbling up during the Biden administration.

 

“I can’t imagine how anybody who’s Jewish or anybody who loves Israel — and frankly, the evangelicals just love Israel — I can’t imagine anybody voting Democrat, let alone for this man, who’s totally — he was shot 30 years ago. He’s more shot now. But the problem was all caused by crooked Joe Biden,” Trump said.

Trump spoke to supporters in Wolfeboro, days after the militant terrorist group Hamas launched an attack against Israel. More than 1,000 people total have died amid the fighting in Israel and Gaza. The State Department confirmed at least nine Americans were among those killed.

“Less than four years ago, we had peace in the Middle East with the historic Abraham Accords. Today we have all-out war in Israel, and it’s going to spread very quickly” Trump said. “What a difference a president makes.”

The former president said that upon retaking office, he would cut off any money going to Palestinians and would reimpose and expand a travel ban that targeted several majority-Muslim countries.

Trump has repeatedly positioned himself as deeply supportive of Israel, citing his recognition of the Golan Heights territory, his relocation of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and his administration’s signing of the Abraham Accords to normalize relations among countries in the Middle East.

But he has also drawn backlash for frequently suggesting Jews who do not support him politically or who are not supportive of Israel are disloyal.

 

Trump in September shared an image on social media telling “liberal Jews” to “make better choices” amid celebrations of the Jewish New Year.

But apart from Trump (who IMHO has no idea what the plot was anyway),  who says that everybody loves Israel.

Aw, you missed his speech where he explained what oceans are, and how there is something living in them called "fish."  I saw it on US tv, but it doesn't seem to be on-line yet.

I liked the bit about having to flush the toilet ten times and the exploding washing machines.  Instead of insulting the political satirists he should be trying to hire their writers; well, that won't work really because he would stiff them and they know it.

Don't be silly.

American Jews mostly vote democrat because they are more closely aligned politically with the more liberal democratic party than the fascist republican party.

Israel is one issue among many, as American Jews are American, not Israeli.

But interestingly Israeli pundits are now saying that Biden just gave the most pro Israel speech in American presidential history.

Well, good to see that you agree with those people who don't like trump, and who you call the "Hateful 8", but here's another perspective on it.......... 

 

I don't suppose it would have occurred to you that these so-called "hateful" people actually like trump, because if he wasn't here and doing what he has been doing, how would they be able to laugh and point fingers at him and his followers: –

 

I mean they can laugh at him suggesting that he can "grab puxxy" because of who he is, then they can also laugh when he is found guilty of sexual assault (or was it rape?).

 

Then of course he boasts about his billions of dollars, until the courts find out that he doesn't have anywhere near the amount he says he does, mainly because he's been lying about his property sizes and valuations.

On the subject of lying, tens of thousands of them are online and in video clips for all to see, so that gives the world and posters on here a chance to see exactly what sort of person he is.

 

He says he is a successful businessman however he has had bankruptcies in the number of double figures (and some), and during a couple of these he screwed the everyday American workmen from receiving their wages.

 

I doubt the everyday American would support him if he is found guilty of sharing secrets with foreign government agents, which at the moment appears to be the case, so perhaps more to laugh and point fingers at in a while to come.

 

And the other thing worth laughing about is how he grifts money off his poor rubes, whilst still maintaining his lie about being a multi billionaire, but that's not surprising because he has actually stated that he loves the "poorly educated" so he obviously appeals to that sector.

 

So maybe these people should be called the "Happy, Joyful 8" because trump and his supporters are the gift that keeps on giving. Or the grift that keeps on grifting!!!!

Yes, you are. Same way Trump can't handle criticism, his followers can't abide anything negative said about him.

 

Now, your comment could be taken half-seriously, but considering badmouthing and criticizing everyone else is exactly what Trump does, sounds a bit disingenuous.

At the root of Trump’s remarks is the unblinking readiness to capitalize on the terrorist atrocities and the ensuing suffering as a means to attack one’s own political enemies and/or the dead horse that never ceases to be in need of a flogging.

 

One can almost hear the cogs turning.

 

From Trump, use it against Democrats.

 

From others, use it against ‘Lefties, use it agains ‘The UN, use it against, Muslims, use it against whoever it is you have a disagreement with.

 

Oh and of course, drape yourself in a cloak of effected fair mindedness and use it against the Jews.

 

Non of these opportunists are adding anything at all useful to the discourse, they are simply capitalizing on what they see as an opportunity.
