AustinRacing Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 Suggested by police officers in the field. Camouflage to blend in with people is a good idea. Otherwise here comes the cops, hide the cash. Is he a police officer who just took some money from that shop?

worldexpress Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 They are civilian peace officers and not military. The purpose of uniform regulations is to enforce good order and discipline but they've proven over the decades that that's not working. 1

GarryP Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 Is his nibs okay with this? I thought he was all for the police and military buz cuts.

newnative Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 So new, improved haircuts on the way, new, improved uniforms on the way, but nothing on the way for new, improved actual police work being done. I'm going to call total bull on the following, which I am shocked and awed that anyone could have uttered with a straight face: The adjustments are seen not just as a mere change in grooming standards but a step forward in enhancing the adaptability and responsiveness of the Thai police force amidst diverse and dynamic challenges.
Chris Daley Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 (edited) Amazing to to think they got it wrong all those years. So many more crimes could have been solved if the new modernized hairstyle was enforced earlier. Edited October 12, 2023 by Chris Daley 1
phetphet Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 A bit more material in those shirts wouldn't go amiss. Or do they purposely order a size smaller as a fashion statement? 1

MangoKorat Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 Is there a lack of news in Thailand at the moment? Police hairstyles are news?

Grumpy one Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Give them all a Mohawk cut, that should make them happy.
Sigmund Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Wlll they continue to have those over tight uniforms that make them look skinny ? How about banning those bribes required to get a posting or a career progress ? How about rewarding honesty rather then enforcing bribery ?
RobU Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 To those taking the Mickey out of the police. This is a change in regulation that has been seized upon and blown out of proportion by the media. It's no big deal. The police are just moving forward to a less military style. Probably allowed because a civil government rather than a military Junta is in charge now.
Hardcastle P Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 More important things to concentrate on don't you think.
