Could you post a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Difficult on this PC, but up to yesterday it always said CLEAR NOTIFICATIONS at the bottom of the box. Now it says VIEW ALL NOTIFICATIONS, and opens a new window if I click it. I currently have 17 notifications available. I like to clear them as soon as I have read them so as not to clog up my page. It is the same on both of my W11 PCs.

Same here on the laptop.  There used to be a 'Clear Notifications' option next to 'View all notifications'.

Yes, I'm missing the "clear all notifications" too. I came here to make a post about it but the OP beat me to it.

I use it a lot. Please bring it back.

The plugin that handled this task is not compatible with the latest forum software that we have upgraded to.

I am looking for alternatives.

Why do you keep calling it an "upgrade" when obviously it isn't... change for the sake of change is not a good thing.

Right. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Seems they fixed it and now it's broke.

While we're at it, have they also stopped the Asean Now Daily News feeds sent to our email?  I've stopped getting them for several days now.

Can't rush these things, slowly slowly.

Does anybody in the Forum support have any idea when the "clear notifications" will be returning?

Has it gone "a Waltzing Matilda" or is it simply "AWOL".

Seems not, looks like they're asleep at the wheel drifting along like the Mary Celeste.

Coming up to a week of upgrade genius.

The "UP" arrow has disappeared again, at least for me.

It has just returned for me.

You must have used your extraordinary thought powers to restore it. 😀

Thank you.

Please do - do you have an ETA yet?

It's quite annoying because I prefer to read the link in the notification then delete ALL notifications. That way when I "View all notifications" I know that I've got something new to read.

I do realise that they are shown as "read" or "unread" but that still clutters the view.

Thank you 👍

No, sorry.

The software request has been forwarded to management. When we get approval to install the software update we will do so. Until then I can not action this.

In that sense I am waiting for a reply the same as you are.

UPDATE:

You can now delete your notifications, if so desired.

Sorry for the delay, it took a week until we received this bugfri version from the software vendor.

Hope this helps 🙏🏼

Great, back to normal - thanks

It certainly does - thank you 👍

And with a confirmation dialogue as well - excellent 👍👍

Now it is a 3 step process to delete notifications... hit "delete notifications"... "are you sure"... "confirm"... do we really need all this redundancy to clear out notifications?

You can't do it right for everyone.

See two posts above 🤣

You're correct, however it's not as cleans before - but at least it's better than for the previous week,

It is back this morning.

A big thank you to ALL the moderators for all the work that they have done, and continue to do.
