I thought one could press on someones profile and 3 boxes but confirm please nd some horrible and nasty people on this site

unfortunately, it does not 100% block. there's still a message there saying their response is hidden each time.

 

3 bars top right > account > ignored users

Even if you ignore someone, their responses still show. 

There are nasty people who would tell you to turn your CAPS LOCK off, but that wouldn't be me!   555

That was not a snide remark, it was a polite way of saying 'Turn your CAPS LOCK off' , and please try to spell correctly. Have a nice day.
