@Shop mak You've got a wee little problem with the age question: it allows multiple answers.

Thanks for the heads up. Will ask a Mod for help.

Asked 2 questions, only 1 answer under each of the 2 Q's should be possible. Maybe some settings

Do other have the same issue, than you can choose 2 or more answers, about age?

Please report to Moderators, as edit window has run out.

I just voted myself, and could only choose 1 answer to the Age question.

I notice many more answers question about Age

than the 2'nd question expat or tourist

People aren’t exactly rushing to participate in this nosey poll.

110 respondents!

That's more active members than I thought there were.

Why? <shrug> ... why do u post here? (you're not obligated to take the poll)
I sometimes find it interesting to learn something about the demographics of the community - that just me.

His definition of "expat" is explicit in the options he allowed us to choose :coffee1:

I suggest mny people would like to know why the poll is being conducted, and who is organizing the poll before they participate. And like some definition of some of the words being used.

Why is the first thing expats do is buy a new bike and put that stupid box on back of it , I have never seen one expat even open them at all , is this the newbie thing to do and then go buy a RTP helmet Gold , I didn’t get this notice on my retirement visa , but every newbie does the same thing ffs

OK, but how do  all members know whether they personally fit the 'official' definition of expat acording to the poll author?

I don't know if I fit the official definition of expat therefore I didn't respond to that choice.

You all sure are a curious bunch??

Nania!!

And why don't you all ask pertinent question of value to those in this forum such as

Should  you poop before you weigh yourself, or after?

I am 100 years old

That would put you in the 81+ category.

You have my best wishes for reaching that age and beyond in good health of body and mind.

Puccini.... I love that username.

My father was an opera singer.

I think that we all knew that this forum was primarily older ex-pats - but I'm surprised just how high the numbers are.

What happened to the other point of interest - male/female/other. I'd guess at least 95% male.

I think the poll is an excellent idea, I was curious what the demographics are and now I know.

If they didn't lie.  Veracity and not taking the piss aren't the strongest traits of AN members!
