I have the same problem but it works fine if you refresh the page

I have a look down all the posts and i see some not in my notifications, a refresh wouldn't show an older post suddenly appear, yes it shows recent ones

when you say working have you compared all posts vs your notifications? i see some missing

When I first open the forum, I see that I have a bunch of notifications, but when I click them nothing happens, then I refresh and they work fine. 

Not sure if you are having the same issue. but if you do , this is what works in my case

Well I just got your notification but no not checked all posts, I tend to delete after 4 or 5. not wasting any more of my time searching old stuff.
