An incident of burglary at a roadside restaurant in Ban Bueng, Chon Buri, shocked the community today at 9am. The local police, led by Police Captain Suradet Imjai, swiftly responded to the scene. Their investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as 37 year old Sanchai, also known as Ton, was a familiar face who had been previously helped by the victims.

 

The restaurant owner, a 46 year old woman, and her three year old daughter were the only ones present during the incident. The woman was bathing her child when she noticed a man entering her restaurant, helping himself to drink from the fridge, and placing them into a basket.

 

Recognising danger, the woman managed to stealthily escape from the premises with her daughter and alert the neighbours who then informed the police.

 

The police arrived at the Ban Bueng burglary scene to find Ton, a tall, thin man dressed in shorts and a short-sleeved shirt, sitting nonchalantly on a rock nearby. Upon inspection, two sharp knives were found hidden on his person. The police promptly disarmed him and took him into custody for further questioning at Ban Bueng Police Station.

The Thais are incredibly kind and generous with people who are down on their luck. It sounds like this guy is a druggie or mentally ill.  Already a thin man, he  won't be gaining any weight on the monkey house fare. 

So that guy snatched a few drinks without paying? And sat on a nearby rock and enjoyed his catch? 

Indeed very dangerous?

And then the squad came to arrest him?

What a horrible story🤣

Another waste of space, drug taking, alky who probably gambles as well.

Not sure what danger she saw in someone stealing 2 beers though, nothing to say he was waving his knifes around, unless she could see them on his person.
