I am safety prevention advisor, not a job to do in Thailand, as you see people welding without welding shield etc. There is no safety culture yet, as most people have no assurances, so those remain silent.

Commercial and industrial real estate advisory.

I say advisory because a fair amount of my work involves research and consultancy in addition to investment sales and running the agency teams who specialise in these respective fields.

thanks everyone for the good wishes. yes, i am looking forward to my new challenge. it will be a pretty hefty learning curve, but i am confident i can nail it!

yes, gerd, maybe we will need to get together after my first week? i think i arrive back on around the 12th from bali, where i will get my non b and i have a 'queens queens birthday celebration' with some of my gay boyfriends (dancing boys and bling - yay) on my planned return date. so maybe we will need to make it the following saturday.

suddenly i have a social life! feels good!

Own training company, working at height, rope access, rigging & consultancy.

Interesting, IRATA? summer summer.

Work out of Singapore at the moment, been considering introducing the concept of rope access and working safely at height to Thailand (PETZL etc ..) but feel I would be smashing my head against a large brick wall with great force.

As most agree, make money overseas and enjoy the leave rotation in Thailand. Keep it simple.

Wish you well with your company.
