It may be because the Jomtien immigration asks for more, or different, documents than most other immigration centers. They won’t even accept some of the documents on the Thailand official immigration website as they have their own documents that they want.

Exactly, and they probably wonder "why stupid farangs don't know what papers to bring!"

I've seen so many "stupid farangs" turn up at the desk with just their passport and ask for a 30 day extension. How hard is it to research something first before going to immigration to apply

Certainly less hard than it is for the Immigration Office to provide clear, unambiguous info to foreigners and then have each officer in each office follow the same rules.

 

If your customers are continuously telling you that it is difficult to use your services, whether you agree with them or not, you're doing something wrong.
