Hamas started an urban war against a regular army figuring they can beat the IDF with their human shields, hostages and tunnels,

Hamas started a war and Israel will finish until the last Hamas standing,

Hamas top leader Yahya Sinwar is not willing to negotiate a ceasefire unless Israel will stop it's campaign and retreat completely, he knows that his days and other Hamas leadership are numbered,

Here is an eye opener article written by John Bolton: "The West may now have no option but to attack Iran"

"Just after Christmas, however, Iran committed the classic “Washington gaffe” – i.e., telling the truth accidentally – when the Revolutionary Guard Corps reportedly described Hamas’s barbaric assault as “one of the acts of revenge for the assassination of General [Qassem] Soleimani by the US and the Zionists”. Hamas immediately denied the linkage, no more credibly than the Revolutionary Guard Corps’ subsequent effort to walk back its revealing “revenge” declaration."

I disagree. IMO they knew they can't defeat israel- only a fool would think that. IMO they sought to expose israel's oppression and collective punishment to the world, albeit at the expense of thousands of Palestinian's lives. Perhaps they thought living under israeli oppression was worse than dying.

They certainly have exposed israeli barbarity to the world. World leaders and the UN are certainly not ignoring it any more.

Perhaps his days are numbered, but he succeeded in bringing Palestinian suffering to world attention. Mission achieved.

and we are all going to suffer if WW3 starts, but perhaps the West deserves to suffer for ignoring Palestinian oppression for so long.

@thaibeachlovers

Oh, is that what they did? Got to love the 'albeit' bit. Like....you're posting all these condemnations of Israel all over these topics, shedding crocodile tears over dead children, women, Gazans, Palestinians, whatever. And then - 'albeit'. Moral bankruptcy comes to mind.

Your last bit is the usual salad - a WW3 which will somehow affect only the West, but this is ok because of Palestinians suffering. Huh?

AND here's another eye opener some will choose to not 'take it seriously', it's about  the horrific tale of an Israel mother

of 2 who was kidnapped and raped my Hamas and Palestinian civilians: "How Hamas weaponized sexual violence"...

( and maybe some of you will understand the reason for Israel's resolves to wipe out Hamas)

So one person Yihia Sinwar, has taken it upon himself to sacrifice 10 of thousands of Palestinians just to prove a point and to

make the world see the so called the plight of the Palestinians? who is he? God? Muhammad?

and how many more lives of babies he's will to continue to sacrifice? dose he have a number in minds of the sky is the limit while knowing full well that the world is as hypocrite as it used to from time in memorial, and that NOTHING will stop Israel from fighting and defending it's homeland...

He's not the one that killed over 7,000 children.

@thaibeachlovers

He did.

He started this.

He knew what the reaction would be.

He took no steps to protect them.

He called on them to remain in place and face the IDF.

He refused hostage exchanges, pauses in the fighting.

You want to absolve him of responsibility.

Good luck with that.

I think you're not up to date, I'm pretty sure the number of dead babies is well over 8,200,

that war started under his command and orders knowing full well the damages in loss of lives, homes and cities would be and he STILL, has chosen to go ahead... And knowing that his days are numbered, he prefers to continue to see his people suffering ignoring the facts that he's fighting a lost cause...

Indeed, you may also want to read the latest report by UN Watch for more disturbing issues with the UN. The link to the full report is in the article.

UNRWA: OBSTACLE TO PEACE
UN Schools use Western taxpayers’ money to teach

Palestinian children to hate Jews

Report: U.N. Teachers Celebrated Hamas Massacre

As war wages on between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, UN Watch has released a new report that reveals how UNRWA teachers in the enclave, funded largely by the U.S. and EU, indoctrinate Palestinian children and promote terrorism and antisemitism.

Entitled “UNRWA: Hate Starts Here,” the report uncovers 20 UNRWA teachers and other staff members who celebrated the October 7th Hamas massacre of Israeli civilians on their social media accounts.

The new cases are in addition to 133 UNRWA educators and staff who were exposed for promoting hate and violence in UN Watch’s last report, released in March 2023.

https://unwatch.org/unrwa-obstacle-to-peace/

Lets hope so, they have shown themselves to be complicit and just not trust worthy.

Israel hoping to push UNRWA out of Gaza post-war — report

Israel is hoping to push the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, out of the Gaza Strip post-war, Channel 12 reported, citing a high-level, classified Foreign Ministry report.

According to the report, the document recommends three stages to the move. The first involves a comprehensive report on alleged UNRWA cooperation with Hamas, which rules Gaza, and the entanglement of the UN body that provides welfare and humanitarian services for Palestinian refugees from the 1948 and 1967 wars and their descendants, with the terror group.

The next stage would see reduced UNRWA operations in the Palestinian enclave, amid a search for a different organization to provide education and welfare services. In the third stage, according to the report, all of UNRWA’s duties would be transferred to the body governing Gaza following the war.

A Jazeera are extremely biased and untrustworthy and often says things that are untrue and they are happy to report false stories , although they are good if you want to read something that agrees with your own opinion

It even states on the opening credit of his 'trustworthy news item' that Al Jazeera is "funded in whole or partly by the Qatari govt", but any port in a storm I guess.😕

Is that the same Qatari Government that gives the Hamas leadership a safe luxurious place to live , away from all that trouble back in Gaza ?

Got it in one.

They also wanted the Palestinians held in Israeli prisons without trial released.

I am quite sure that every prisoner in the World who is being held without charges wants to be released , even if you feel that some people are unjustifiable are being held in jail , committing mass murder, rape and genocide against the Israelis, isn't an acceptable  solution to your grievances

Again, re-posting articles and stories that were already discussed.

And, as usual, adding some unnecessary hyperbole - not 'top of the charts' but rather 'The broadcaster deleted the video clip after a huge online backlash.'.

The learned author would do well to have a similar look at Palestinian text books, indoctrination and so on - but guess that won't be aired on AJ.

Correct. Unbelievable. It is and never was top of the charts. It was a twitter video by a small group of kids organized by a media company which was then quickly deleted.

More lies from you. Ever thought about a new year's resolution?

That is a very disappointing video and those Children are a disgrace to Israel , they should aspire to be something better than tractor drivers . They are lacking ambition and should strive to be something  better than farm workers .

Thais can do those tractor driving jobs :)
