Pattaya — A Chinese man wanted in China was arrested in Pattaya on Saturday, December 16th.

A joint operation between Nong Bua Lamphu police, the Crime Suppression Division Region 4, and the Immigration Bureau Region 3, resulted in the successful arrest of a Chinese national, Mr. Wang (last name withheld), 42, on Saturday.

Mr. Wang was apprehended due to his possession of a revoked passport, which rendered him in violation of Thailand’s immigration laws.

If he had not been wearing a cardboard box on his head, they would not have recognized him.

The passport must have been revoked after he entered Thailand, if so then he was on borrowed time.

So Mr. Wang had been doing his 90 day reporting?

How many more fugitives and criminals from all over the world have found a safe heaven in Thailand? Most of them are concentrated in Pattaya and Phuket, some of them in Bangkok as well.

"Revoked' is not the right word. Probably, his passport was just "Expired".

Since Visa requirements have been waived for some very highly populated countries, and dare I say countries with not insignificant criminal counts, we can only expect more.

Only the Chinese involvement led to the arrest

I think I read, last week, that his PP had been revoked by China and a formal request had been made requesting his apprehension.

Reckon "Revoked" was the correct word, according to the 2nd article he has an unspecified arrest warrant issued by China. Must have been speaking out of turn.

Was Mr Wangs last name Ker? :coffee1:

Stolen from a joke I heard

Good Morning School welcome back to a new term,

I'd like to congratulate teachers Mr Wang and Mrs Ker on getting married,

His Nickname will remain the Same.    :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

Yes that’s what read also…

Again no pointing...........what is happening to Thailand and the RTP?

China has been getting people arrested and deported in Canada and the US for years. Both countries have now stopped allowing this as the “criminals“ being deported were actually only people that had been critical of the CCP.

No idea what the real story about this “criminal“ is.

They will have to start sending assassins' over then as Russia does.
