One of my best friend went to Bangkok Pattaya hospital this morning for regular checks

Doctors say him he must have a pacemaker quickly implanted.He can't go by plane and they even advised him not to drive.

His european cardiologist will give him some advices tonight on the type (brand???) of pacemaker he needs

Does anybody have experience of this kind of surgery in BKK or Pattaya?

Hospital?.. surgeon?????

As you mention a routine exam believe my first action would be a second opinion at another hospital to confirm the immediate need.

French cardiologist not sure of need of surgery now.Changed long time prescription;advised more tests (already programmed tomorrow) Advised the brand and type of pacemaker my friend needs.
