I just realized there is no crypto tax in Thailand
Bit late, but thank you for the answer. Not really worried about CGT in the UK, as no assets there other than the crypto, and no plans to go back, I am well above pension age. Not ready to sell yet, but still not really sure how I will do it . -

Thai girlfriend - DWP PoL form for UK pension.
If your girlfriend is registered in the Thai health system she should be able to visit the local doctor or hospital and get it signed there. NO lawyer is necessary. I went to my local hospital last week and all it cost was 50 thb for the doctors fee and the cashier stamped the form. Your girlfriend will be given 16 weeks from the date of the letter to return the completed form to the DWP. There is a thread running where posters have discussed prices for returning the form via Thai Post. Prices vary but the best price seems to be a longtabien for about 270 thb which can be tracked and gets to the DWP in a week or 10 days. -

It is a general truism that Asian ladies age gracefullly and do not become hippos. My wife just turned 55 and can still fit into her high school uniform (don't ask me how I know that....) North America there are some, 5% maybe, who are still attractive in their 50s. But the odds are against it. -
