No idea if this is the right place to post this but mods pleas feel free to move it if necessary.

We found this baby bird this morning and we heard him yesterday calling for its parents but

they never showed up.

He was on the ground this morning so we took him in a fed him.

what kind of bird is he?

I am thinking some kind of Drongo but not sure.

Any tips on what to feed?

We fed it some water mixed with egg and some termites.

With the longer feathers just after the beak, I thought maybe Great Myna, but has lighter colored mouth/beak.

Leaning toward Crow now

hopefully parents will show up, if putting it outside in the shade for a while.  Have you heard them in the  area, as pretty distinct call.

if not, should be looking like this in about a week, and able to fly on it's own within the month.

Thank you for the response, the head seems to be not really black but a very dark gray.

No parents around at all .

Some white feathers in the tail but quite short legs .

It is sleeping now and seems to be ok after being fed.
