And in the courtroom today we have the plaintiff, a glue sniffing drunk that was found wasted at the scene of the crime.  And the defendant a machine that neither crash nor lie.  Lets check the blackbox recording.

I award the amount 100,000 baht to Tesla and we apologize for wasting it's time.

Blame Tesla Full Self-Driving Mode.

(A 122,000 baht option.)

Might have avoided the accident if engaged.

Even with just the basic autopilot, if you enable it and don't react to the steering wheel nags, it will slow down to a stop and engage brakes. So likely the drunk driver did not engage self-driving if the option was included (no evidence that is was).

The loud noise shocked everyone before the Tesla lost control and crashed into several customers’ cars

I suggest the Tesla driver lost control before he hit the Pajero.

It was a joke based on the often-claimed excuse of "Brake Failure". That is blaming someone or something else for the accident.

hmm ... don't recall too many headlines (any) with the car manufacturer as lead word ...

... Toyota crash causes ... :cheesy:

News-blip of car crash with no injuries.

You see it every time a Mercedes crashes into someone or someone crashes into a Mercedes.....and very time the Mercedes driver is an A$$.

The word Tesla as a lead word in the headline and the implication can be particularly problematic for car manufacturers, as it can create negative associations between their brand and unsafe driving practices, even if their vehicles are not actually at fault.
For this reason, journalists and editors may choose to avoid including the make of a car in headlines about accidents, unless the make of the car is directly relevant to the story or the cause of the accident.

So true, but who would click on that thread"

... "Drunk has car accident, involving no injuries"
