Popular Post Ebumbu
Hi. I have a question that perhaps Pattaya experts might be able to help me with. I'm experiencing some health issues. I found a woman on a Thai dating website who offered to take care of me, including cooking, cleaning, shopping, massage, and perhaps additional services when requested, thought that wasn't discussed yet. I'll be going in for major surgery later this year, so having a "lady take care" is probably a good idea. She works part time at a bakery and part time interning at a plastic surgery clinic. So, she's not a ladybar (at least not now). What kind of rates would be reasonable to pay her to "take care me" for a day (to look for rental housing for example), a week (to assist with recovery), or a month (to assist with long recovery)? My question is about how much to pay her without getting ripped off. She's reasonably pretty, 37, has a kid, and is not a hottie. Lives with her mother and is trying to get by, basically. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Also, is there anywhere else I could look for an arrangement like this? Not a maid, nurse , or ladybar per se -- but an all around very-personal assistant. Maybe I should change my online dating profile to specifically ask for this. Thanks! 1 1

Ebumbu
18 minutes ago, Adumbration said: How much can you afford to pay? That's what she asked me. If I determine I need it for recovery, I can afford to pay whatever it takes. I read that a nurse is perhaps 50,000 baht a month. I don't need that or medical services per se. I need all-around shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, massage, and whatever comes up. My mobility will be effected. My goal is to pay fairly and not exorbitantly. Get recommendations from them! buy a safe and keep all your valuables & important docs locked. Side note: off topic a bit ,My daughter had a airb&b customer gain access to her garage ,they went through all of her storage boxes! They took some old expired docs and used her identity to commit fraudulent acts. 3 2 1 1

Popular Post Lacessit
Go looking for ugly ones, 15K /month would be reasonable. Contract the sex out. With health issues, it might be infrequent anyway. If your original handmaiden won't accept 15K, walk away. Do not, under any circumstances, disclose what assets you have. Or what you can afford. 4
mran66
Rides 4 Kickz had a video in youtube about a year back, have a look. I recall live in nurse was around 20k+ a month or something like that. Rented from a service provider, not hired I think.

Ask an ugly 37 year old bar girl how much to stay with you for one month. Then pay the girl you have in mind the same amount. Sounds like you not only need care but you are lonely and fishing for a relationship. Starting a relationship off with a monthly payment is destined for failure... Just so you know. 1

Ebumbu
Thanks for responses. I haven't thought much about the security angle. I have credit cards, ATM cards, bank books, passport, utility bills, birth certificate, and a wallet with cash. Computers are encrypted and passwords aren't written down, but could conceivably be stolen. Installing a safe is the best way to protect myself? I'd need to ask landlord, I guess. Thoughts on security? I'm not fishing for a relationship with this woman. But sure, the company might be nice. Money was brought up very quickly, and she had been a beer bar "owner but not worker" in the past. I understand the LOS love-game rules. 1

She knows the URL of my ecommerce website (an asset). Was this a big mistake? I guess I should conceal Thai bank books. Other statements are online only. It's been helpful to think through these issues.

When/if you can't take care of all things by yourself risk getting ripped off is too great.... When you're sick and bed ridden it doesn't matter where you are. Play safe! It's really hard for a Thai woman to earn more than 9k/month, and she needs to have finished high school to get that wage. You don't understand 3rd world wages. 1 1 2 1 1

You are not a Thai worker, for such it's a fair level of payment, it's more than 500 baht a day. The minimum legal level is less than that, even in Bkk. 2
Popular Post Lacessit
35 minutes ago, Olmate said: Fair for you not me! 500bht 24hr day sheezz.!! She will not be working 24 hours a day, most of the time she will be sitting around texting her friends, or watching lakorn on TV. Or sleeping, I am convinced Thais can sleep anywhere at any time. Women in my GF's village earn 200 baht for an 8 hour day in the rice fields. That's only during planting and harvesting, the wages averaged over a year are 2-3K baht/month. For them, 15K baht/month for housework would make them village HiSo's. 2 2

If money has been brought up quickly, AND she has been an bar owner, IMO those are a huge red flag. IME bar owners have hearts of stone. I store all my passwords with Bitwarden, it has only one master password. Photograph all your cards and documentation on your password-protected phone. Back up the information on an encrypted thumb drive. It saves time if anything is stolen.

And, that would bypass the security issue. I'll reflect on all this. I also wouldn't mind companionship during my recovery. I won't be "DTF" for a while after surgery. Massage would be nice though. Thanks for this lead.

Earlier you mentioned that nurses earn 50k... a few might, but the vast majority will be on well under that. Those nurses care for dozens of patients. You're asking her to look after 1. The workload will be cushy compared to what would be expected from a Thai employer. 18k would be a VERY fair wage. Live in, with meals, less than that.
