Popular Post mikebell
More proof of RTP's negligence. This journey must have been undertaken SIX days a week; a possible 12 sightings IF ever a cop ventured out on to the roads. 2 1 2

'Fortunately, the relatively low speed of the truck prevented any fatalities'.
Popular Post jacko45k
How long ago was it that it was going to be outlawed having passengers in the rear bed of pickups? I recall it was in the news maybe 5 years ago.

I counted forty, honestly!, in a pickup once. Eight in the cabin and 32 in the bed. They were sat four abreast on four planks double-decker style so two layers of 16 labourers. Gottfrid
So, i assume the truck was registered to carry 26 passengers and a driver. Otherwise jail the driver as well as the owner of the company that owns the car. Also put heavy fines on the company.

Punishments like that would be actual deterrents, but are just a fantasy, unfortunately.

prakhonchai nick
Saw a similar number of kids in the bed of a pick up a week or so on Childrens day. Not sitting, but standing...............and they overtook me at 90+ in the outside lane of a dual carriageway!!!

Is there a law restricting the number that can be carried? Can yu quote it please. As far as I am aware it is all just hot air!
Peterphuket
I see pick-up trucks with high school kids driving here daily, full to the brim, per person they have to pay 500 thb on a monthly basis so yes it is still allowed.
