A plan, conceived by the Tourism of Thailand (TAT), to set five Guinness world records, including wearing the most pairs of elephant pants in sixty seconds, expected to take place at the Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok from February 21st-27th, may have prompted the resignation of all 24 members of Thailand’s soft power fashion panel on February 1st.

The other four events are punching the most balloons wearingboxing gloves in one minute; eating the most deep-fried dough sticks in one minute; wearing the most Phi Ta Khon face masks in one minute and eating the most popcorn in one minute.

I can see why the panel said they were busy with their own business workloads... not having the time to play childrens games.

Some other record ideas:

cleaning the most khlongs and gutters in one month

fixing the most Bangkok sidewalks in one week

collecting the most plastic trash in one day

raising the most middle fingers at TAT ideas in one minute

Rounding up and culling the most soi dogs in a day would be a worthwhile pursuit as well as being a long term benifit to Thailand.

I do like these elephant pants. Unfortunately Thai sizes are way too small for my enormous girth so I will not be a buyer anytime soon.

They look fantastic hanging off a girl's hips.

They do indeed....but wouldn't look that good hanging off my huge arse.

I'd like to find whoever decided never to make them in larger sizes, and personally thank him/her.

I'm sure a few of our AN members own a pair of elephant pants. 😂

Why not? Cool and comfortable. Not bad around the house. Can serve as pajama bottoms.

Why? Stroll on. Would be nice to see these energies put to tangible use, such as on the streets to rid the country of dodgy governments or solving soi dog issues etc etc. 😋

Yah, yah.

A great display of the power of Thai intellect.

OMG. Could THAT really be it? But it seems you've fallen victim to the ANF Poster Boomerang Principle, so that your post merely reflects the power of your intellect.

Our pretentious Calvinists need to lighten up. It's just a bit of light-hearted fun for a bit of publicity.
