So, you don't have any data that disproves the Global Warming hypothesis?

Why do you bother posting in this topic?

you have no data to disprove the global warming hypothesis, just trolling. When all you've got is trolling, you've lost.

once you mention Harvard you’ve lost all credibility.

Human produced carbon dioxide is warming the planet.

Unless you have data to disprove this, please don't embarrass yourself by changing the subject.

The atmosphere doesn't care if humans are corrupt.

You can repeat it as much as you want, it's never going to make it true.

So you didn't read the links I posted ... big surprise.

Not really. Although I do live in Thailand so I'm kind of used to it. I wonder why you do if such things are so important to you. Having said that, I'd rather have dirty air and water than live under a socialist system where the state controls/regulates everything.

However, the 2 are not mutually exclusive. It's possible to have clean air and water without the kind of state control that leftists try to push, thinly disguised as "saving the planet".

A great start would be the elites setting an example with their own behaviour. Rather than continuing to pollute many times more than the average man and then preaching to them about their behaviour while trying to buy themselves a "free pass" with carbon credits and other such nonsense. Nobody with any sense takes that seriously.

The more I see a "do as I say not as I do" from the likes of Gates, Obama, Swift, The Markles and other left wing virtue signallers the less I am likely to believe their intentions are genuine and do as they say. Having said that, my lifestyle is already effortlessly far less polluting than those charlatans, as someone who loves nature and has a farm with over 2000 trees, grows fish in my lake, enjoys riding motorcycles more than driving cars, grows many types of fruit and vegetables, doesn't enjoy long haul travel etc. I guess I am actually the opposite of those lefty hypocrites without even trying. One of many reasons I have so much disdain for them.

I'd bet good money that my lifestyle is far more "green" than a lot of the preachy doomsday cultists on here as well. Which leads me back nicely to my original point. They aren't really doing it to save the planet, that is a ruse. They are doing it to promote their leftist ideology. As I said before, Global climate alarmism is an excuse for global socialism.

That's your solution? You think industries that pollute are going to care about Bill Gates setting an example? You've got nothing.

I can imagine you at a pool party with Bill.

Bill tells you his science. The pool is full of acid, he says. Then he jumps in, playing with his wife and kids and sipping a delicious cocktail.

You sit outside, sweating in the sun and trembling with fear- warning everyone to stay out of the pool, quoting Bill's science. Bill meanwhile has the pool all to himself.

Bill loves people like you.

As is typical of you, when you've got nothing you make it personal.

I was on a cruise around greenland and iceland about 15-20 years ago....they had a speaker onboard who showed nasa satelitte photos of the ice sheet over past xx years and he showed them year after year you can see for yourself the ice sheets shrinking and more and more rock exposed....then the ship would cruise around and you can see massive amounts of melt water absolutely pouring into the ocean

all but the totally brain dead could see for themselves that something significant was/is going on and that amount of water pouring into the oceans over time would likely raise sea levels...

so argue all you want over cause and what is to blame or take a look at rising sea levels around the planet and bury your head in ignorance and mock those who at least attempt to just maybe mitigate and  postpone the horrible impact that increasing sea levels can bring to the planet.

It’s not a question of Greenland’s ice melting but the cause.

Human producing carbon dioxide complete loony left BS.

Next you’ll be saying humans caused the thawing of the last ice age.

As was noted in this thread, the potency of CO2 as a greenhouse grass was established by the great Irish physicist, John Tyndall, in the 19th century. No one has even thought of disputing its properties which have been measured with great exactitude until the anthropogenic climate change denialists came along. Or do you believe that Tyndall was part of some globalist conspiracy?

As for the thawing of the last ice age...what don't you understand about the significance of rates? If a bank offered you 2 kinds of  savings accounts, one with an interest yield of 1% and the other with 10%, would you believe that the difference in rates doesn't matter?

You definitely need to have a chat with Al Gore and John Kerry.

Are they giving up their private jets?  In the name of human producing carbon dioxide emissions.

Perhaps by the time of the next ice age.

What has any of this got to do with the fact that the greenhouse gas potency of CO2 has been an established scientific fact for almost 200 years? You've got nothing.

I see .  Human producing carbon emissions restrictions are for the masses only, not for the elites.

Business as usual.

You began by denying that CO2 is responsible for warming and now you're claiming that generating large quantity og it is only a privilege for the elite. Why should that matter, if, as you claimed, (contrary to the scientific fact that was established in the 19th century), that CO2 is  not a very potent greenhouse gas and not overwhelmingly responsible for global warming? Confused much?

Actually, you’re the one confused.

Go back and read again.  Don’t make inaccurate comments that don’t relate to what was actually said.

You think too mutt.

Carbon dioxide warms the planet as it increases.

It doesn't matter who makes it. Even if its Taylor Swift's jet, CO2 is a greenhouse gas.

Irrelevant.

Let's try this: do you agree that Carbon Dioxide is a greenhouse gas?
