Magic LED Lights (Non analogue)

Featured Replies

Thank Christ the analogue problem is sorted. 🙂

Now I may be the last to know, but lovely wifey wants more lights that come on in the night time (dark) only.

So I only did know of those switches you install outside the light to create this magic.

But found a magic LED light that does it all.

Amazing.

Sweet! First time i have seen a product like this.

Me too....now see if it works without clouds triggering it.

SWAGHW wanted them installed all around the back of the house, but at sunrise they kept flickering on/off, so they all got turned off. Thanks.

I just do what I'm told (mostly).

Yes it's the 'middle' ground that tends to tip them off.

Not quite light/dark enough and the sensors work overtime.

Other option is to go for motion sensor lights that you can adjust for both daylight and amount of time you want the light to stay on.

We only have mains outdoor lights on the upstairs sitting area, unfortunately the one place suitable for a photo-switch can "see" the lights it controls.

For ages I was using a carefully shaded sensor but in the end gave up and just put them on a timer.

All our other outside lights are solar and controlled by the solar charge controllers.

I’ve had a similar issue with syncing colors properly, especially with cheaper LED strips. Some work on RF signals and others on IR, which can mess with control. I ended up switching to something more reliable for outside lighting—went with a lampe exterieur murale https://lassola.fr/collections/outdoor-wall-light that doesn’t rely on all that finicky wireless syncing. It’s been way easier to manage and still looks great.
