Best just to get your keys on to a wallet with these Thai crypto platforms ?

While a few might suddenly be easy to join for foreigners, I worry about the platform integrity.

Anyone using crypto.com as a foreigner in Thailand with no issues getting set-up ?

You are correct and I never do anything otherwise. ALWAYS immediately withdraw any buys to a self custody hardware wallet and can never understand why anyone would do anything differently. Unless they were actively trading of course, but even then only trading tokens should be left on exchange. The bulk of your crypto should be in your own control or what's the point?

Never used crypto.com so can't help ypu there.

I don't know what I was thinking when I bought it 4 years ago at just over 6000$ a pop.   But I guess you are just a bit smarter than me eh?   :clap2:

Sell through Thai based OTC (would prefer P2P - Phuket), never buy in Thailand.

Do you know any good OTC in Phuket? Checked Cryptopida in their office but they require passport copy for "just an internal KYC".

How is OTC working you are depositing into your bank or something else ?

Never really heard of doing a crypto cash-out OTC.

I think he was saying thankfully he ignored naysayers when it was much cheaper back then.

It's good if you're in BKK... Here in Phuket I didn't try one yet, few of them are based in Bangtao which is a bit far from my south location, will check them out sooner or later.

Seen few Russian money exchange offices with BTC logos, didn't check them out lol.

Yeah see the Russian's just have concern if i am roped into some sort of sanctions violations if deal with them.

If you do try Bangtao do feel free to provide feedback, as rather clueless these days as don't generally socialise with the crypto folk on the island.

Yeah they ping it direct to your account within minutes.

SEC regulated entity (but their back end).

Only deal over a certain THB value.

Rate this morning was 35.73 to the $, sometimes better rates, other times bad.

Do you have a company name for this type of place or is that not allowed per forum rules ?

I do. I just don't share publicly as i've often found they get stampeded and you then loose your ability to use them as they then introduce much stricter processes and requirements to be a client.

i.e they have the pick of the litter.

First, I haven't given any advice in my response to your inane posts, on the contrary your the one spouting advice and labelling people "simply if they buy bitcoin". Second, you obviously haven't got a clue how bitcoin works, its price has increased 3,000 USD per coin since your post. Third, stop using silly emoticons in every post it shows everybody just how mature you are, or not!
