Popular Post webfact
Surat Thani – Two Russian women and a Russian man were arrested after they were allegedly operating an illegal beauty clinic on the Samui Island. The Surat Thani Immigration Officer told the Phuket Express that on Thursday (March 7th) they and the Surat Thani Provincial Public Health Officials inspected a beauty clinic in the Bo Phut sub-district on Samui Island. The clinic was not legally registered, according to Surat Thani officials. Ms. LILIIA, 32, and Mr. Alexandr, 35, Russian national, were found inside the clinic. Ms. LILIIA told officers that she was contacted by Ms. YULIA, a Russian national who is the owner of the clinic. Ms. YULIA hired her as a beauty expert and a manager of the clinic. Officers found that the QR code payment in the clinic shows Ms. YULIA’s name. The suspects were taken to the Bo Phut Police Station. Seems a purge is going on to cleanse Thailand of illegal owners and workers. 4

One joke he told stood out. “What's the difference between a Russian lady and a Russian bear?“ Answer: “You don't have to shave the bear!“ 2 1

Popular Post NativeBob
Something is very wrong with those kids running business in Thailand against local laws and regulations. Even those days when overstay was 200THB/day we were more cautious. Nobody heard the word "ban" and "thaivisa" was a "company" But now? There's something very wrong with those or they are extremely desperate. Or neither...

zhounan
I have the strange sensation that they are kicking up the dust to show that they are cleaning up Phuket, but the real criminals are sitting quietly in the villas.

QR code is the payment system widely popular in modern Russia - you can pay with your phone (special App) Obviously their customers are Russians as the language gap between them and locals is huge Why clinic? nothing, just a figure of speech I assume, lost in translation. My thought is that was a sucker punch from competitor: another "service provider" with less attractive offers. Police arrests small fishes: it is not even funny ))))
