Bang Lamung Police Shoot Suspected Motorcycle Thieves: One Teenager Injured in Pursuit

Bang Lamung—At 5:00 PM, on March 9th, 2024, Bang Lamung police officers received a shooting report in Soi Rong Pho, Bang Lamung, Chonburi, as police officers chased two suspects involved in motorcycle theft in Chonburi.


Police forensic officers and relevant agencies were dispatched to the incident scene and found an improvised blank gun with a bullet shell nearby. The police then collected them as evidence and inspected the area thoroughly.

 

The emergency service performed first aid to a suspect, whose name was withheld by the police as he was only 17-years-old, and was in serious condition from being shot in the left side of his back. The suspect was transferred to a local hospital for immediate medical treatment, said the police.
