Agree.

But, Bard does better with a bit of coaching.

Regards

I am not sure that I would take it upon myself to advise or coach Shakespeare (I presume he is the bard to whom you refer) on "word smithery"!

Your posts often remind me of Samuel Coleridge's epic work (it goes on and on for bloody ages) " The Rhyme of The Ancient Mariner"

The first stanza sets the tone:

"It is an ancient Mariner,

And he stoppeth one of three.

'By thy long grey beard and glittering eye,

Now wherefore stopp'st thou me?"

There are some 625 lines in similar vein!

This cannot end well, me thinks.

I like this line. Though admittedly, I had to wade through the rest of your post to find it.

No, probably not.

But, we all could do better if we would discard the Gregorian, me thinks.

Let's get back to the lunisolar calendar.

Can we, at least, agree on this?

Mods, would you kindly care to throw this joker off this forum, pretty please?

The word "joker" does not apply to that idiot!

IT should be banned but unfortunately IT provides "clickbait" to AN!

I only look at it's post to see what responses IT gets!

Bard is now Gemini, please keep up.

Bard/Gemini needs to keep up too.

I asked the question:

Does sugar dissolve in gasoline?

No, sugar does not dissolve in gasoline. This is because sugar is a polar molecule, and gasoline is a nonpolar molecule. Polar molecules and nonpolar molecules don't interact well with each other, which means the sugar won't dissolve in the gasoline.

In fact, if you were to put sugar in a gas tank, it would just sink to the bottom because it's denser than gasoline. Even if the sugar got stirred up a bit, it's unlikely to pass through the fuel filter in your car and cause any problems.

So, the rumor that sugar will ruin a car's engine by gumming up the works is just an urban legend.

This answer is incorrect. Most forms of gasoline contain ethanol. Industrial ethanol is an azeotrope of 95% ethanol, 5% water. In fact, the average 50 litre tank is capable of dissolving 1 kg of sugar.
