Germany legalizes cannabis

Featured Replies

Germany today became the biggest EU country to legalise recreational cannabis, with thousands flocking to Berlin's Brandenburg Gate overnight to light up joints in celebration.

A huge crowd packed the streets around the famous monument in the German capital toting cannabis plant-shaped placards and banners that read 'we don't want to be offenders!'

The throng of marijuana enthusiasts erupted in cheers as the clock struck midnight and thick clouds of smoke quickly filled the air as hundreds of people sparked up in unison.

Good news, I hope the rest of the EU, and the rest of the world follows. Marijuana prohibition has went on long enough.

Try telling Thailands PM that.  Want's to move in the opposite direction because of a supposed threat to society.

Head in the sand much.

Politician's love to flap their lips, but nothing ever happens, especially in Thailand. Last year (around June) they said that in 6 months there will be a bill to control marijuana, but it never happened.

There's too much money to be made from weed for them to outlaw it.

So, I don't listen to anything they say anymore.
