Accident Ten Injured After Minivan Crashes En Route from Bangkok to Sisaket for Election
Picture courtesy of Khaosod. Ten people travelling in a hired minivan from Bangkok to Sisaket to vote in the local election were injured early morning on 11 May, when the vehicle veered off the road, struck a streetlight, and crashed into a central ditch in Buriram province. The accident occurred at around 07:00, on Route 24 (Chok Chai–Det Udom Road), in front of the Nong Bot Subdistrict Administrative Organisation office, inbound to Nang Rong district. Police investigator Pol Lt Chalermchai Nenathorn from Nang Rong Police Station received the emergency call and dispatched rescue teams from Siam Ruam Jai Pu In Foundation to the scene. Rescuers found a silver Toyota minivan, registered in Bangkok, lying on its side in the central reservation. The driver’s side front section was damaged and the windshield was shattered. All ten occupants, including the driver, managed to crawl out of the wreck and were calling for help. Preliminary investigations revealed that the group of nine passengers had hired the van in Bangkok and departed at around 21:00 the previous evening. They were en route to Kantharalak district in Sisaket province, hoping to arrive by morning to cast their votes. Authorities are conducting further inquiries to determine the cause of the crash. The driver has undergone a blood test to check for traces of illegal substances. Meanwhile, the injured passengers are receiving medical check-ups and were cleared by doctors, to continue their journey in time to vote. Adapted by Asean Now from Khaosod 2025-05-12. -

Sorry, don´t belong to any, as you made up a qualification I do not agree with. However, you must live up to your own classifications. -

The airline needed proof of the digital arrival card at check in. Nice to have it handy when needed -
