I'm sure Beckham will be a popular choice, but for fans with a little bit more knowledge of the club then there are other players who were better than Beckham, just not so good at marketing themselves.

August 21, 200718 yr Yep, but if you was going to pick a best ever United midfield, he wouldn't get in, and the likelyhood is that Edwards would play in the right, given that he was two footed. I'd go fo Best, Charlton, Keane and Edwards. Reckon that would be a tasty midfield.

How would Beckham have coped with '50s kit and ball and no substitutions becuase 'He's tired' or 'He's broke a fingernail' How would Duncan Edwards coped with today's kit?
