Lampang Woman Kills Husband Over Affairs With 5 Women

In a tragic turn of events, a woman in northern Lampang province reached her breaking point and killed her husband who had affairs with five other women. The incident occurred around midnight, leaving the community in shock.

 

The harrowing episode unfolded in Bo Haeo subdistrict, where Mrs. Porn Kruathanu, 62, struck her husband, Mr. Dech Kruathanu, 63, with a hammer before stabbing him. Police rushed to the scene led by Pol. Maj. Gen. Bhumipanya Nawatrakul-phisut, the commander of Lampang provincial police.

 

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found Dech's lifeless body on the road in front of their home, bearing signs of both blunt force trauma and stab wounds. Nearby lay the hammer used in the attack, which police confiscated as evidence.

 

In an unexpected twist, Porn did not attempt to flee and awaited police inside her house. Upon interrogation, she revealed the volatile nature of their relationship. The couple frequently argued, largely due to Dech’s multiple extramarital affairs.

 

 

Porn confessed that their latest quarrel escalated when Dech allegedly moved to attack her, prompting her to strike him with the hammer. Dech then fled outside and collapsed on the road, where Porn followed and stabbed him.

 

The shocking incident has highlighted issues within their household, but police emphasised that the investigation is ongoing to determine the full motive behind the murder. They aim to discover whether other underlying factors contributed to this tragic outcome. 

 

This case has stirred conversations nationwide about domestic disputes and the severe consequences that can arise from unaddressed marital conflicts. As investigations progress, more details are expected to emerge, shedding further light on the circumstances leading to this grim event.

have to disagree, i've seen thai women go after the 'other woman' many times.

 

actually, thailand is not unlike other countries, as men and women have affairs in most countries, it's human nature not thai nature.

Maybe not. She claims he attacked her. She might have got away with self-defence and extreme provocation but chasing after him and stabbing him after he collapsed on the road may well soften that defence.

 

Personally, I hope they throw the book at her - her husband may have been a complete A hole but she didn't need to stay with him. If I found out my wife had had just one affair, she'd be history, not dead.
