When frequenting these establishment, don't run a tab. Pay as you go. Beer by beer. First go to a 7/11. Buy a bottle of water, to get change for a 1,000 baht.

Have you ever actually been to one? Sounds like the advice one gets from those who dream of, but never go to, these places. Seriously - if you're this paranoid best just stay home.

This is great for Pattaya as the family friendly prostitution free tourist destination where the police are waiting for a complaint to press charges after a vicious attack on a tourist. The police can do better and show residents and visitors they are working to improve safety and charge criminal behaviour

So video footage, witness statements, global viral news coverage about the tourism impact for the country not enough to get them going eh?

No brown envelopes.

This part says it all

"Meanwhile, according to Col. Navin, the contracted security group responsible for the attack operated independently, without any official Pattaya City approval or training. They were not directly affiliated with any bar establishment or group, said Col. Navin, and the contractors violated Thai government policies. As a result, the group of independent guards will face legal action for this as well, said Col. Navin.

And if the victim is dead with no relatives to complain?

Yes, an instance where charges are brought as an offense against the law (in the citizens’ interest). Looks like a moot point as appears a complaint is being filed.

I honestly get it most foreigners hate other foreigners and think the kick to the head when your defenceless is acceptable, that's fine as long as everyone on here , god forbid happens to them or there children, oh wait once it happens to them it will be way different, this platform should be we all hate foreigners and English in particular coz we deserve it , forgetting that Thais hate us , but no one says that

The Brits have now made a formal complaint to the police according to the Pattaya News.

Bryce Mahoney, Welshman.

Sounds like he was probably in Thailand for the weed given his track record:

Bryce Mahoney, 40, of Parc Gwernen, Ammanford, admitted four drug charges at Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 29.
