An important consideration under the new regulation is the ability to credit taxes paid in the foreign country against the individual’s tax liability in Thailand. This provision, aligned with Double Tax Treaties, can potentially reduce the tax burden on individuals by acknowledging the taxes they have already paid elsewhere.
