Gary Lineker Under Fire Over Controversial ‘Nazi propaganda’ Post Featuring Rat Emoji
I found intelligent people can think for themselves. Snowflakes have a very low melting point. He got exactly what he wanted. Free press to spread his thoughts. It's a shame that supposedly intelligent people can't realize that. But hate, like sex & blood, sells. You can't fix stupid ... that applies to both sides of the coin. Those that spout hate, and those that give it an expanded, international platform. Go figure Kind of makes you wonder ( I don't ), which is the more stupid or ignorant ones. -

Economy Thailand Sets Sights on Growing Sustainable Protein Market
Lamb grazes and eats its natural food, so healthier than most beef unless beef is grass-fed. Most beef is fed grains, which is not healthy for them or for us. Lamb is even more expensive than beef How many grams of Lamb do you eat daily? How many grams of meat should humans be consuming daily? Can the average Thai person afford to feed their family on lamb? Nope. Way way way too expensive. My point is that meat can be completely banned one day. But even now, it's already quasi-banned because it's unaffordable for many people. Why don't we bring the cost of meat down so it's not a luxury item for the middle class and get rid of grains? -

Crime Gunman Fires Shots into the Air and Takes Hostage in Bangkok
Pictures courtesy of Khaosod. A dramatic hostage situation unfolded in the heart of Bangkok on the morning of 15 May, after a man fired several gunshots into the air and held a hostage inside a residential property in the Bangkok Noi district. The elite Arintharat special operations police unit has been deployed, and negotiations are currently underway. At approximately 09:45, officers from Bangkok Noi Police Station responded to reports of gunfire in Soi Wat Lakkorn Tham, Ban Chang Lo sub-district. Upon arrival, police discovered that a 31-year-old man, identified as Mr. Tae, had entered a local community in search of his girlfriend. When he was unable to locate her, he became agitated and began firing shots into the air, sparking panic among residents. Witnesses reported that the suspect was intoxicated and in an unstable emotional state. After discharging his weapon six times, he reportedly took a hostage inside a nearby home. Local police swiftly sealed off the area and began negotiations to de-escalate the situation. Metropolitan Police Commissioner Pol Lt Gen Siam Boonsom arrived on the scene to oversee the operation. Initial efforts by officers to negotiate with the suspect were met with resistance, as he fired shots in the direction of police personnel. No injuries were reported at that stage. Authorities later confirmed that the suspect remained uncooperative and showed no willingness to surrender. As a precaution, the Arintharat special response unit was dispatched to assist with the ongoing standoff. Police have successfully evacuated other residents from the immediate vicinity and are continuing attempts to resolve the situation peacefully. Adapted by Asean Now from Khaosod 2025-05-15.
