Thailand will not stop at legalising same-sex marriage, which it will later become effective this year,

Sounds good to me, but why a marriage, what is the divorce rate (40% ?) Why not just stay together and be happy as long as it'll last,  you can't reproduce anyway.

When this BS started many decades ago in the west (I lived in Sydney in the 70s) we were told this is is Pandora's box and it is not a good move and that society will regret not encouraging them to stay in the cupboards.  What I see now tells me that the advice given back then, that was immediately attacked as homophobia, was absolutely correct because it has gone too far.  While the majority of 'gays' are OK people - it is the insane ones and the activists that always want more and more 'equality and rights'.  That would all be OK, if only they did not see equality as meaning they can 'teach' children that being gay is 'normal'.  The majority believe that it is OK to do that and to be that - but it is not 'mainstream' and should not be taught to the young, and it should not be paraded around everywhere as if it is normal.  What started as giving rights to male gays and female lesbians in a relationship, has degenerated into men wearing a dress and with a full beard and full reproductive organs, demanding to be able to use the girls bathrooms, and to compete against the girls in sports.  Any females speaking up about their problems with this happening are shouted down as homo haters and bigots.  Be Aware Thailand - this is the thin edge of the wedge - be careful - be very very careful.   Gay Males and Lesbian Female couples only - dont go any further, or you will regret it.

Many straight couples can't reproduce either.

Marriage equality only means having the option to marry.

Many couples gay and straight will choose not to.

Not forcing.

Just stating the obvious.

If you were against letting black people marry you would be a racist.

Your example is moronic.

I know to you it seems 'obvious' - but that is because you are locked into a left wing radical way of thinking.

However, I am happy to discuss how you can decide a person is something 'bad' - solely based upon what they wrote in a post.

Firstly - lets define the descriptive you assigned to me so that we are on the same page.

What is homophobia, and how in your opinion does my comments make me 'homophobic'.

I know you're a dinosaur but you should know by now that support for marriage equality is very mainstream and certainly not radical.

Exactly as I expected - all rhetoric and parroting the left wing narrative about 'supporting marriage equality'.

The reality is that when we all agreed to marriage equality in the west (as I stated in my first post), we did not agree to Lia Thomas appearing naked in the girls changeroom and winning all his/her swimming events against the girls - that is the reality of not drawing a line. That is what you narrative parrots still refuse to talk about - and you will label anyone who dare questions anything related to the downstream issues of 'marriage equality' as homophobic and a dinosaur. Nor will you debate the issues - It did not matter that I asked you to define the slur you called me (homophobic) - and I could have asked you to define what a 'woman' is. You like all lefties will not engage and debate because you know deep down inside that you cannot win with logic and rational argument - only narrative and insults to force others to 'comply'.

PS - I played golf nearly every week for almost 20 years with 3 other blokes - one of which is gay. He dislikes all the activists and their BS more than me, and he showed me a lot about what most gays really think about what is happening now in the west - they disagree.  But like all the women who disagree with the radical feminists now doing a lot of damage, he cannot speak out for the backlash he and his Partner would get is far worse than what the radical activists throw at non-gays who dare questions things.

You're conflating different issues.

You lost - avoiding a debate means you lose.

Read my first post and your response calling me homophobic.

I want to discuss why you called me homophobic and what that means.

Your failure to do so, means you lost the debate.

You are Logicphobic.

Yes I agree - you are a troll and are now being ignored.

Only a troll would call someone a homophobic and then refuse to explain or defend why they called them that slur name.

Give me your phone number and I will get my gay mate that I played golf with for 20 years to call you and tell you that you are an ignorant fool to call me homophobic - because I am definitely not that at all.

Why not? You can have 4 wives and 'marry' girls of 9 years old.... Oh, wrong place, not this place...

Lowering the age of consent certainly wouldn't surprise anyone, especially with talk of sex workers being legal, since defacto already.  Definitely lower the 'adulthood' age from 20 down to at least 18, so they can work in the bars/brothels/karaoke bars.

Casinos seem to be back in the headlines

Ganga already basically legal.

Next ... Soon alcohol available (officially) 24 hrs ... :cheesy:

ROCK ON

Yea, that has happened in every country that has passed marriage equality...time for people like you to pass on due to living in irrational fear...How does equal rights for others harm you?

So did allowing interracial marriage lead to the inner-city riots in the U.S. in the 60s...per your logic...As a gay person why should I have to pat higher taxes than you because you are allowed a right that was not given to me? You are setting up straw man arguments...

Another argument based on lefty thinking. Your logic is - agree with all gay rights snd all the downstream issues, or you disagree with gay rights. Read my posts again - it is the downstream issues I do not want Thailand to allow in the name of 'gay rights'. Example being Lia Thomas.

So if there is a war I'm going to prision and ladyboys go to play dressup and look at their titles.  Sounds a tad unfair.  Why do we assume a man has the mental strength to endure prision.

equal rights under the law are not 'lefty' thinking but you stick to your ad hominem arguments...who gives a flying f**k about Lia Thomas a single case does not prove anything exect to you...

Where in the article does it discuss the issue of transgender athletes? Equal rights for women was probably a 'slippery slope' for you...
