What's so funny?

From his FB profile it seems he has a successful business, handles luxury cars of all brands and obviously not a Toyota driver (like me ).

For a Patek Philippe the price is still  far from the upper limit (judging from prices outside Thailand).

No idea how much you have to add for a legally imported watch.

What is worth a laughter is his lack of street wise behavior.

Walking in public with precious stuff in one of the most crime ridden cities in Germany is quite careless.

A Nautilus, about 200'000 Euro and for a factory new you have to apply to queue:

a fool and his money comes to mind.

Wearing a 6M Baht watch in an inner city environment is not exactly what I would label caution. Something doesn't add up in this tale however.

He is an influencer. Any way to get more publicity is what they want.

Could also be an insurance scam.

Must have been a quiet day at the news desk - it seems. The kiddo has quite obviously too much loose change by the car and the time piece.

In my next life I want to be an influencer too - although  I have not the slightest clue, what an influencer does 😉

I am happy with the 15 quid watch I bought off Ebay UK , 5 + years ago

still going strong ,nobody is going to be desperate enough to steal

it , I was just reading in Newcastle Chronicle ,two muggers chased

a guy through the streets of Newcastle to steal his Rolex , they caught

him and took it , but it was a fake one .......

In today's world, definately not a good idea to sport around in a swanky car with a swanky wristwach costing the price of the car, and to display one's fortune on social media. Should it be in Thailand or abroad. Hope the victim gets back his property.

Absolutely.

Was just in Frankfurt. Not a city worth visiting. Unless it's for business.

Been to Frankfurt many times nothing wrong with it.

Much better places in Germany to visit. Just did a bike ride along the Moselle river. Absolutely stunning

Wear expensive bling to show your status, get robbed - don't complain.

When we travel, all expensive jewelry is left at home in a safe. Never travel with it

I get criticised for having 2 Tags (which I hardly wear and never in Thailand) but those prices take it to another level

Yes. Many fantastic places. Just too much rain now. Tried to bike on the Rhine but the paths are underwater!

Is this supposed the actual moment the thief struck , if so why isn't he smashing him in the face with his right hand ?

I don't know this guy but most of at least travel video makers travel in groups of 4 or more, where the videographer takes shots from distance, and "influencer" holds own blogging camera like GoPro or similar. Hence for one of his crew video recording the whole session isn't strange, and in this case, given that's German police getting involved, probably quite helpful in identifying the culprit.

He's the owner of Addzest Carcolor, a garage in Bkk, I wouldn't call him an influencer or YouTuber, Chat GPT's presentation is misleading. He does have a large following on social media though.

Also who's taking the pictures?.

Fact check: BS

Fake News.

Looks like it would be pretty easy to put the thief on the ground and make off.
