Yesterday, June 11, at 8.30pm, police in Bang Phli, Samut Prakan received a report of an assault outside a housing estate in the area. Upon receiving the alert, police and rescue teams from Por Teck Tueng Foundation were dispatched to the scene.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has called upon the Ministry of Justice, asking it to act on the cases of nine Thai political activists who disappeared after seeking asylum in nearby countries. NHRC's Sayamol Kaiyoorawong recently presented an investigation report on these disappearances to Somboon Muangklam.
