Of course there were no signs of illegal activity! How could there be such a thing in the most family friendly tourist venue in the country!

I am interested  in opening a bar on Walking Street just like those pictured here.

I am thinking of a African Lady Bar or Latin Ladies Bar. What kind of business license

do I have to have. Should I have a Thai nominee company or can I own it in my own name?

What kind of work permit to my African Ladies or Latin Ladies have to have to work there?

Since the police must have passed by these places on Walking Street and saw nothing illegal

then it must be ok?

Walking street rents are some of the highest in the the world.

You would be better off testing the waters of bar ownership in Thailand off of Soi Bhukow, although those also can be eye openingly expensive.

Pattaya has some of the highest property prices in the world.  If you could afford it, buy some and rent it out to eager bar owners.   Less risk and headaches.
